Rajasthan DigiFest 2017 on 17th & 18th August 2017 at UIT Auditorium, Kota.

We are pleased to inform you that the Government of Rajasthan (GoR) is organising Rajasthan DigiFest 2017 on 17th & 18th August 2017 at UIT Auditorium, Kota. Envisaged as a two-day event, it will be one of its kind innovative fest that would unite the voices of emerging entrepreneurs & startups from the field of IT and e-Governance.

Startups, investors and corporates from every part of India would get a platform to pitch their novel ideas, share experiences and showcase innovations. They will get a chance to engage directly with the Government as well as Venture Capitalists and seek financial support in form of huge grants from the government.

Organized under the DigiFest, Hackathon will be a 24-hour non-stop digital programming competition. The participating teams will simultaneously compete to offer digital yet sustainable solutions to solve real time challenges on platforms like Bhamashah, e-Mitra, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, AR/VR and Blockchain.

We cordially invite you along with your team to grace this mega IT Fest. The event provides an opportunity to indulge in high energy interactions, engaging workshops, panel discussions and mentoring sessions on topics related to Startups, Entrepreneurship, e-Governance in Rajasthan, Artificial Intelligence and much more. A program for your students to strengthen the internship culture in your college.

Hope you are doing well.

Internshala (the world's largest internship platform) has launched the 8th edition of the Internshala Student Partner program (ISP) which is aimed at improving the internship scenario in India.

What is the ISP program?

ISP is a 6-month long program in which we hire 3 students per college (who will work part-time for about 3-4 hours per week) to spread awareness about internships. We will teach these students essential skills like leadership and communications. During their tenure, they will conduct various on-campus activities like seminars/workshops, participate in fest, and provide the college students with latest internships.

How will the college benefit?

These internship awareness activities will lead to a stronger internship culture in the college; hence, more students will apply for internships. This will definitely have a positive impact on the final placements.
Who can apply and what will they get?

The ISP program is open to all students - from any degree, any year. Besides learning the core skills that will get them ready for the corporate world, they will get certificates and financial rewards during their tenure. Students can find more information about the program here.

Business Plan Competition

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, which has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, is completing its 50 years of existence during the current year.  As a part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, we are organising a series of events and programmes.  One of the major event is organisation of a Business Plan Competition for students of technical institutes (engineering colleges and Management Institutes) from the northern region.  This event has been named as ‘Start-up Manthan 2017’. 

A detailed brochure of this event is enclosed herewith for your kind perusal.  We extend an invitation to the students of your college to participate in the above programme.  A copy of the registration proforma is also attached herewith.  Necessary information including the outline of business plan, rules and registration guidelines have been given in the brochure.   It has also been uploaded on the Institute’s website www.nitttrchd.ac.in.

You are therefore, requested to give wide publicity to this event in your Institute so that interested students (in Teams) can participate in this business plan competition.  All the participating students will be given a certificate of participation. In addition, we will also give prize for the top three winners.  The registration will be on first-cum-first serve basis.  A maximum of 30 Teams will be chosen to participate.
